I was just wondering, 'cause I feel like downloads are slower with Opera. But correct me if I'm wrong.

Strictly large downloads shouldn't have much difference across browsers. Aside from your own connection, the server you're connecting to is pretty much entirely what makes how fast your download is going to be.

And as long as people are going to jump down your throat about Mozilla, it's not all that quick. The fastest out of the excessive number of browsers I've used is K-Meleon.

I don't think so- I have been an Opera user, and personally Opera was 10x faster then IE7.

By the way, IE7 is like the 2nd slowest browser out there. (USE MOZZILLA)!

Go for Firefox, it's the best for now. Its plugins are also useful.
no opera is faster, but if u need a browser i'd have to recommend firefox. It overall runs faster and smoother than the rest in addtion to its add on too.
