What is the name of the famous opera piece used in movies?

In "Meet the Parents" and "Superman Returns", there is a famous opera aria used as backround music. In "Meet the Parents", it is playing while Greg and the Burns family are visiting Kevin at his new home while Kevin unveils the gazebo he made for the wedding. It is also used while Kevin is driving the gazebo to their yard in the truck and ruins the lawn. In "Superman Returns", it is used in one of the scenes with Lex Luthor on his ship towards the beginning of the film. I would really appreciate it if anyone knew anything about this piece. Thanks!

I believe it is the flower duet from "Lakme." It is also known by the opening line "Viens, Malika..." You can find tons of recordings of it as it is a very popular duet, but to make sure it is the one you are thinking of, go to amazon.com and search for "The Most Famous Opera Duets" and you can listen to a clip if you scroll down.

Well, I havent seen either of these movies, but I'm going to have to guess it's O Fortuna from Orff's Carmina Burana, since its waaaaay overused in movies and pop culture in general.
Can you describe it (I don't remember what played)? Was it choral, solo, duet, fast, slow, major, minor?
